Testing Report of WM Portal Installation on Vercel.

Address Module:

  1. Creating a new address works fine, @SecGen and @Abiola please watch this recording to agree if on the implementation of the creating new address.
  2. But some few adjustment must be done to the UI to make it more user friendly; like when the add new buttons are place for fields needing a user to to add new field for where what they instead to select in not among the options presented to them. The add button currently there is confusing, it looks like a add new button for a field after whereas it is for the field before it.
  3. Add a new address type name feature is not working, after trying to add a new address type name and hitting the green button which means submit nothing happened.

Adding of banking details

  1. I could not add my bank details successfully, the system told be there was a mismatch on my name with the WM and that with my bank. This is not so, the name on my bank account is the same as the name I registered with on the portal. The response I got was “invalid names, please ensure your profile name matches you account name”
  2. Here is what I noticed, during registration on the WM portal you are only required to input you first name and surname, no middle name. This might be what is causing the error message, my name on the portal is simply Omotayo Samuel whereas with my bank my middle name is included; Omotayo Oluwaseun Samuel.
  3. Henceforth, we must include middle name as one of the fields required during registration.

Verification of BVN

  1. I can’t verify my BVN until I enter my bank details. That was the response the system gave me.

Set Transaction Pin

  1. I was able to set my transaction pin with no hassle.

Setting up KYC

  1. This is not working, after uploading the documents, entering my password and verification code, clicking on the submit button does nothing.
  2. This issue was also previously record on the portal installation on TeamCity but was later resolved so this should be resolved on vercel using our previous knowledge in no time.

Setting up 2FA (2 factor Authentication)

  1. I was able to set up my 2FA with ease.

Uploading of Profile Picture

  1. Profile picture uploaded successfully with no wahala.

Dependent Account

  1. I tried creating a dependent account but after all fields were filled and I hit submit, nothing happened. I guess the feature hasn’t been completely implemented?

Listing of Service

  1. I can see the UI present for listing service and small integration has been done because some of the values I created using the Service API were available for selection but generally this is not ready.

Under Auctioning of Market Warrants

  1. What we have under auctioning of market warrants are purely UIs, no integration has been implemented, one can only view listed market warrants nothing more.
  2. The UI for the viewing listed market warrants was well implemented, it followed the specification Mr. Abiola did that we gave to the software team.

Under Monetisation Menu

  1. We only have view my applications, this allows users to view the list of their monetisation applications.
  2. The UI is there but contains a dummy data.

Issues and Work-n-Progress

  1. No 2 under the address module, adjustment needed for the button to add new value when selecting form available options. (GitHub issue id 473)
  2. No 3 under the address module; creating a name for a new address type not working. (GitHub issue id 475)
  3. No 1 & 2 under add bank detail; mismatch in the WM profile name and bank account name which is not correct. (GitHub issue id is 476)
  4. No 3 under add bank details; this is not directed to the module, we must include middle name as one of the fields required during registration. (GitHub Issue id is 474)
  5. No 1 under setting up KYC; I could not do my KYC successfully. (GitHub issue id 477)
  6. No 1 under the dependent account; I can create a dependent account, let alone upgrade or set instructions(permissions) for the account. (GitHub issue id is 478)
  7. No 1 under service listing; the is not an issue per se I believe it is rather a work in progress intend but I am still putting it here.
  8. No 1 under auctioning of market warrants; this is rather a work in progress rather than an issue. Everything under auctioning o market warrants are dummy data.
  9. No 2 under monetisation menu; this is rather a work in progress rather than an issue. Everything under monetisation are dummy data.

@SecGen @Abiola I have solved the issue we had with using TOC (an assignment that was given to me).

The post above is a sample of me using the TOC feature.
But there are two things to note sir.

  1. The TOC feature only works on the first post in a topic
  2. And you can only use the feature for topics posted in categories, it does not work on group message.

Forgive me for doing the testing here in this category.
