To return to 2022 levels, we need to more than double both 2025 GDP and per capita GDP. GDP needs to grow by 125%, and per capita GDP by 137%
The unprecedented devaluation of the currency by 100% even using black market rates has real costs. As government legitimately take credits for the reforms, we should be careful about celebrating successes buoyed by the post-reform low base. True progress requires asking the harder question which seems painfully rare: what do we need to do to return the economy (GDP) and quality of life (per capita GDP) to 2022 levels.
