Chinese children learning to cook, sew etc

How young can we start to train them?
The West will call this child labour; our own children go to the farms with their parents… they might as well begin to acquire skills relevant to their future, in which even our teens adults are deficient at present.
These activities won’t stunt their development. Worth trying, in my view.
