They did what was best for them at that time. It’s now left for us to do what’s best for us at this time. The merger has its pros and cons. We must stop blaming the past, and reinvent our present to secure our better future. It’s in our hands, no longer the call of the colonialists. We must take ownership NOW, and not be like South Africa where the 51m blacks can’t maintain what the 2.8m whites left behind.
