The suggestions here propose further consolidation of incomes and tax towards the centre instead of towards the states.
This will be a masterpiece of deviation from the general civil consensus to strengthen the states on all fronts.
The poverty of thought, vision and imagination that had led to the gross mismanagement of the national economy appears to have now fully percolated down to the state level.
A few of the suggestions are solid enough, but on the whole, we’re in real trouble, as many of these people will work their way into the senate as the retirement home of failed and expired governors.
