In actual fact, this is philosophically incorrect. More often than not, we can make our future, both as individuals and as countries.
This is because the things that God has put within our control are more than the things that are outside our control (like the days of our birth or death, or how we will die, or if we will have an accident behind our control).
The development trajectory of most countries was well planned and skilfully executed by people in a position to do so.
The converse is also applicable.
