Kogi govt to EFCC: Come out with report of your investigation on N20bn bailout funds

Something strange is happening here. The whole facts of the case are not being presented to the public. Somebody or both sides are benefiting from a deliberate failure to put all the discovered facts before the public.
If the money is being returned to the Central Bank, then whose was it, and what would have happened to it if not for the intervention of the EFCC?

Why isn’t EFCC prosecuting someone for fraudulent remittance from the Central bank in the first case, if that was where it originated from? Why wasn’t it applied for the original presumed legitimate purpose? Why should such a large sum be shrouded in so much secrecy if some serious crime was not involved? Why isn’t the EFCC pursuing accountability on all sides, to its logical conclusion?

In the interest of justice and accountability, why isn’t the court ordering EFCC to make her findings public since it involves public funds? Instead of merely grandstanding, why isn’t the state government seeking this or similar relief from the court?

Indeed the rights of the public to freedom of information are being breached here, and some big crime is being covered up. Justice is yet to be served.
